Dekton is an ultra-compact surface consisting of a blend of glass and porcelain. It can withstand high temperatures without burning, scorching or cracking. Hot pans can be placed directly on the surface with no worry of damage. Dekton is the most scratch resistant surface on the market and is completely non-porous and stain proof. As an Elite Cosentino Partner – Elmore Kitchens offer a full range of Silestone Dekton worktops.
Another of the most commonly used materials for worktops is granite. like quartz, this material is also very resilient. Granite is a natural rock that is cut in its natural state and is then polished for use in homes. Regular maintenance is suggested to prevent staining with granite. Such a strong material is difficult to scratch and is able to resist temperature changes. Because it is natural stone, granite doesn’t provide as wide of a range of colour options and each piece is different.
Corian® is the original solid surface material. Created to last a lifetime it is a unique blend of minerals and acrylic which creates a stone-hard surface that can be shaped to meet any design or dimension.Corian® is an advanced composite of natural minerals and pure acrylic polymer and is backed by DuPont™ with a 10-year Limited Installed Warranty. Corian® is non-porous and can be fabricated without visible joins. Its smooth surface does not allow liquids to penetrate and that makes it easy to clean. Bacteria and mould have nowhere to take root. When Corian® looks clean, it really is clean.
Quartz worktops are fabricated from natural quartz, one of the hardest minerals found in the earth, small amounts of glass or metallic flecks are added to create variety, resulting in beautiful worktops. Another advantage of quartz is that it is a non-porous material, its texture does not allow bacteria to grow and resists against stains, protecting your family and making kitchen clean-up easy. For this reason, quartz worktops never need to be sealed.
Aside from the durability that quartz provides, this material is beautiful and its wide variety of colour options are sure to catch your eye. The choice of a quartz worktop not only brings character to your kitchen but offers performance advantages that exceed other traditional materials.

Glass panels can be subtle or make a dramatic style statement. A neutral colour will blend into its surroundings, while an eye-catching image or bright pattern will be the focal point of a room.Glass works in both traditional and contemporary interiors and its versatility makes it the ideal counterpoint to many other materials – both natural and man-made – and it complements a wide range of interior styles.
